Company profile, history and values


PROYECMA, S.A., founded by Nicholas Tirado in 1987, is a firm with over 25 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the assembly of plastic caps and plugs handling systems in packaging plants.

Initially located in Granollers, PROYECMA currently has modern facilities of over 2,000 m2 in Barcelona (Spain), where we design and assemble each and every one of the supplied equipment and turnkey lines.

PROYECMA is currently present in Europe through its headquarters in Barcelona and its various commercial agents and partners. And since 2007 in Sao Paulo giving business and technical serving in Brazil and elsewhere in South America.
In PROYECMA, S.A. we have developed our own technology and quality:
  • Rotating machines or intermittent (indexed) of assembly by threaded caps or pressure.
  • Cutting machine and / or insertion sealing liner of plugs by intermittent or rotating lines.
  • Closers outside mold of hinged closure plugs.
  • Fin folding of inviolability seals.
  • Quality verification systems for plastic caps by machine vision, for height measurement, of flow rate, detection of micro-pores, etc.
  • Feeders of all kinds of plugs, diffusers, pumps, small packages or others.
  • Threaded heads with magnetic torque limiter of permanent magnet or hysteresis.
  • Transportation Systems: extracting tapes of injection parts as mold and cooling belts with or without forced ventilation.
  • Other transport systems of parts made to measure

Our equipment is manufactured according to the EC Machinery Directive and, depending on the application, to current standards relating to the GMP,
